Hi guys <br>been away for a few weeks but am v interested in NW meet -Whats the current plan??? are you planning on going to this NORLOG meet or are we having our own sod every one else approach on Nov 6th?<br><br>Or does anyone know of any nice pubs in the wilderness that we can get lost trying to find?<br><br>Or we could gate crash a really up their own arses mx5 owners club that i know of that meet outside Bolton!<br><br>Craig [smiley=1poke.gif]

Monty,<br><br>We used to live in Stockport and the family are up there. Moved to Torquay a couple of years ago when I bought a hotel and became Basil Fawlty. <br><br>I am travelling up and down next Thursday and will be up again the weekend of 26th November and possibly again during December.

Sorry - Now I've sold my Elan I keep forgetting to check the forum !    :(<br><br>NORLOG meet at The Ladybarn on 5th Dec will probably attended by Rob Collins as well - the inventor of the famous RobC valve, as he only lives 10 minutes away.<br><br>Mascrat Manor is a great venue for car meets - very easy access as its right on the roundabout at J21 of the M6. although can be a bit busy at peak times because of the Thelwall viaduct roadworks. Lots of other car clubs meet there as well. It has a large car park, large pub and serves good food.<br><br>I'll post on NORLOG and see if anybody wants a ride down to Stoneleigh - we normally have a mini convoy starting from Knutsford services.

Hi guys,<br>             I've just noticed this thread about a North West meet .  Sorry I won't be able to come as we are emmigrating  to New Zealand at the end of November .   We have been planning this for a couple of years now and it has all finally started to happen.  Basically I have a visa for 6 months to look for a job , then when I get one we can then apply for residency .   All our stuff will go into storage untill I tell them to ship it out . Oh and by the way  the Elan is coming too  ;D . I hope to make it to Stoneleigh as I could do with taking as many spares as I can .  Maybe see some of you there and say hello   and gudbuy  :'( .<br><br>       Mike.<br>
