I know this is off topic here but I need to fnd out more on your tyre experience!<br><br>How many miles have you done and what sort of feeling did you get from them?<br><br>To me, I think the bes way to explain the feeling is that all the wheels feel lose and the car uncontrolably wobbly!  Do you think since I only have 2 fitted I should put them to the front, would that be more controlable?

Humph,<br><br>You're welcome to sit in with me in return for the advice.  I last drove at Castle Combe a good few years ago before the 2 new corners were put in, although I have spectated more recently.<br><br>Stef,<br><br>Interested in your tyre issue, I have Toyos to but the older T1 S, I've been pleased with them and would have considered going to T1 R when I need to change, but probably not now.<br><br>Nige

I have dropped tyre pressure to 22 now but hope to move them to the front adding a couple of psi.<br><br>They just didn't seem to be holding the road.<br><br>The design is a little different, I'll try to post some pics if someone doesn't do so before me!<br><br>Also since the rear has no weight the extra stiffness isn't really necessary, so I now learn!<br><br>I like the style of the S type and have heard good ratings so hope I can trust them for my second pair I'll need to purchase soon.  In slow speeds generally things are fine but uneven surfaces and speed is when hings feel very wrong.  Think I have expressed enough times now how sh1t scared they have made me feel!<br><br>I guess I have learned the hard way in trying a new tyre type but hopefully others can now take advice too.<br><br>- new topic on these tyres under the appropriate tyre section now started!  ;)

Stef<br><br>I got the T1R as I was told it would be better than the T1S, but I have to admit that i have yet to be convinced. I think I have got around 600 ish miles on them now and the feel is improving all the time. I find that the car feels very light in its initial reponse and at speed, but after initial 'wobble' sensation on corners it digs in well. It may be due to the large amount of tread, but I am no expert!<br><br>I have found that the lower pressue suits them as well, and when I first got the car, putting new tyres on the front and old on the back made it feel more stable (slick rear ::))<br><br>Nige - would love a ride if possible - I can point you along the right lines and where the braking points etc are, but the rest will be down to you!<br><br>Carl - could do a convoy, but I have no idea what time I shall be setting off etc yet, so will have to let you know.

Weather forecast for Saturday is not good  :'(. Friday Hot and Sunny, Friday night, thunderstorms, Saturday wet.  I work about 30 minutes from Castle Combe and will get an updated forecast for the area from our Met Office towards the end of the week.<br><br>Nige
