Maybe it's my failing eyesight but I don't see the Southern Spin and Scoff thread here on our sparkly new forum so I thought I'd revive the thread.
Date: Sat 30 Jul
Place: Meet at J1 of M27 (Cadnam) come off motorway and meet in convenient area nearby, speific details to follow.

I'll be there, but unless i can replace my speedo cable in time i may be lagging a bit behind because engine light comes on after a while and can't go above 3500 revs when that happens

Chris, I don't recommend going further south than J1 of the M27 as the A31 traffic is very, very bad this time of year particularly at a weekend. I finish my present job this week and after a few days away I was going to recce the area just off J1 on Thu or Fri next week and post my findings. I need to check but I seem to recall that when you come off at J1 the road takes you back under the motorway and there are some large grass verges that should be suitable to park up on, if not it will be into Cadnam and the first pub car park I can find.

Rob,
Yes, I've looked at a few - BBC says cloudy, whereas some of the others mention rain. I plan to bring a gazebo / large fly sheet anyway. Damn it all, we're British!
Cheers
