Following my earlier post, here is the result of one application of Renovo. It's hard to photo the differences due to light and flash, but the RHS has been done and the LHS hasn't and I think you can see an improvement in clarity and removal of milkiness after 14 years of oxidation? It won't remove heavy scratches though - just makes it a little less obvious.

ias mentioned earlier..
i removed the hood and frame completely ..
took it into my house , screwed it to a wooden table where i layed inside the roof (on the table) and the needle was thredded through to me and then i passed it back out again...
this required a very strong leather needle, a pair of pliers and some proper thread ...
it took hours !!
and my thub bled a lot. however the end result was perfect.
oh and it was done in the "roof up position" with the new screen tacked in with pins very tightly all the way around first...

have got pictures .. but due to my stupidity do not know how to reduse the piczel size ....
