Dave they are painted and actually in a very poor way since I keep damaging the paint day after day, and all I have do is respray them a bit with a handheld common spray (Filled with Lotus Black Colour Code#), and of we go!

Nitroman no matter what you say, there are no words to describe that feeling buddy! That kick is simply addictive

Sometimes words are not enough to describe how happy I am at this very moment. Just a few hours ago we dynoed the Sh4rk and the results were beyond my best expectations.

362hp without the use of NOS, in simple words 226hp/lt. With the use of the 75hp NOS shot we overun the 400 barrier since we managed 437hp.

I dunno if there is any way to describe how driving Sh4rk at this hp feels like, all I can say, and try to picture it and feel it in your brains is that from 4200rpm till 4900 the car gains 200hp.... thats what I call a Neck-braker, and keep in mind I am always talking without NOS use.

Right now I am preparing the video of the dynorun, so stay tuned.

I am very sorry because I know for fact that many LEC users dont check the Upgrades section and will have no idea of this achivement......

Its 9MB and 3min long!

You can hear me saying in Greek "362!", I dunno what kept me from throwing the camera in the air out of joy! and instead remembered to focus on the torgue figure :D

What about now??? :P :P :P
226hp/lt without NOS, is apples and oranges?

that's an incredible acheivement!!! - surely you must be reaching the absolute limit of 'driveability' now though?? you must have to be so gentle with the accelerator

luv the vid mate but can you explain something to me.

The read out on the screen shows a graph where there is a rapid rise in the hp then a falling off in hp and then a second rapid rise. Now this has probably been discussed at great length in other parts of this thread but if you can explain in a few words why there is that dip i would be v.interested.

Can't wait until the nitrous runs :D :D :D
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

Actually its not the HP line that drops and rises again, its the Torgue line that makes a little drop (from 42kgm to 40kgm).
The detailed balancing of all the parts in the inner engine (Rods, Crank, Pistons) and the fact that we removed A LOT of weight of that area, gives result that you see in the dynograph. I have a Torque MAX point and as soon as it starts to drop, the balancing interferes (adjusted to work on high RPM) and gives extra torque for the result that you see. It was meant to be like that but to be honest we would be even mre delighted for a straight line there

When you drive the car the feeling is that you get an amazing kick in the stomach and a break in neck at 4200-4900rpm then at (thats tenths of secs here) 5500rpm you expect it to go away yet instead it keeps pushing you repeatidly till 6700rpm. If you can switch gears fast without damaging the Shift cables, the feeling is like a Constant accelarating all the way all the gears without any point of loosing power or torgue. It has to be driven cant describe it.

Awesome work, awesome car, awesome videos, Costas!

Thousand Thanks!

Now will the car last long enough to make it to Donington? I have to give my wife a real good reason to let me go back--and these videos might convince her . . .

Wednsday Night we are gonna do again all kinda of measurements with V-Box 3 for FasteR Magazine! 0-100km/h 0-160km/h, 0-260km/h, 1km distance, 0-400m (quartermile), and every type of acceleration in every gear through all the speedometer.

Hopefully Sh4rk is gonna be on Octombers Issue.

Costas

PS. I'm gonna drive Sh4rk to Donington next year no matter what, I promised myself about it when I missed this year's gathering. Doug, the car will last forever, you can have my word for that
