Have they ever pushed an elan? Or can drive in before show, and drive out after show?...
Trying to get mine spruced up for this one.

I doubt that anyone's going to actually check the fuel levels, it's just an insurance caveat, I guess - they've always stipulated it for cars inside.
We drive 'em in and we push 'em out (or drive 'em out at the end).

Sy
have been told by a guy who lives 'round the corner' from stoneleigh that this is probably the pub with the biggest car park close to stoneleigh......its about 1.5 miles away tops....just past stonleigh village itsself........it is however slightly north so I dont know what you want to do but I think that the M40 might be a bit chaotic depending on which junction you want to meet at........
what do you reckon
cheers

I was looking at doing something a bit longer than that G, but I'm not discounting your suggestion - it may be worth the Northern brigade's consideration.
Please look here:
HERE
Our hotel is under the L of Longbridge adjacent to M40 Jct 15. It has a large car park, but it may have barriers for non-residents.
North of there on the A46 (the route towards the NAC) - there's a services with a small car park on the left near the 1st bridge (where the A4189 crosses). We've RVed here before and IIRC there's a layby a bit further up for Elan overspill.
Then it's up the A45 to the junction with the A452 (just South of Kenilworth). Along the A452 towards Leamington 'til the roundabout (near the A of Ashow). 1st exit on unmarked road and left on to B4113 at Blackdown (IIRC this is next to Warwick Rugby Club). NAC Stoneleigh is the light grey mass on the left of the road south of Stoneleigh village itself.
How's that?

Again IIRC I think we'll be in the northern end of the large row of cattle sheds running N-S in this photo:

ah...OK sy
didnt realise we were doing it as a kinda run.......in that case it could be OK to meet there.......I'll just look at the easiest way in which for me certainly will be down the a46.....but before that either M1 or M6...I'm in the middle of both.....
I suppose in that case we could sort an earlier rendez vous for the Northern lot travelling down on the day and then meet you at your rendez vous to swell the numbers further.......
need to know who's coming and where from.........up north that is!!!
do you have numbers?
cheers

I'm driving up on the day so if anyone else is convoying up from the south we could plan to meet up
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

Sorry to spoil your 2 man convoy scenario, but make that 3! I’d rather get up at stupid o’clock than shell out for B&B!
