Well still waiting for VOSA, they have contacted me & said everything is in order, but it will be another 3 weeks till they can see me, that was friday14th & heard nothing yet. But it has given me time to get the cam-cover painted :-

Paul,
Amazing what a difference a bit of paint can make - very nice.

How easy was it to get the cam cover off? You might have inspired me to get mine redone.

John, very easy, take spark plug cover off, then the 12 cam-cover bolts + the 2 bolts on the top of cambelt cover ( at the side ), there are 2 pipes to disconnect from the camcover as well, then just gently ease the camcover off, select colour & away you go !
Monty, beleive it was just normal 2-pack, done at local bodyshop & they assure me it will be ok, or it will go back. They reckon theve done loads of em. It actually cost me £20, but i did the owner a bit of a favour as well. Ive got to price it for someone else, so will let you know.
Dico, who knows where it will all end !!!!

Afraid Blacky won't make it to Stoneleigh, if i don't get on with the completion jobs, she won't be fully ready for Donny, & i'm determined she will be !

Congrats! I can appreciate all you've been through with this project and I'm sure you're just itching to get out and enjoy the car. Thanks for sharing the progress with all of us. She's a beaut.

Thanks Dave, next step is back to Newcastle to get front bumper resprayed & whilst thats happening the seats will go off to lotus. Then that leaves the decals, which have been sorted, just need to be fitted. I will be sending a spare set of carpets off to a company i have found called Coverdale Carpets, they reckon they can make new set for approx £140 - £200, we will see what they say when they get them ?
