hi guys, i need help.. big time! 3 months ago some1 i no did my driveshaft seals. 2weeks ago my rear engine mount/plate broke. so i got some 1 decent 2 look at it. only 2 find that the monkey had sheared off 2 bolts that attach the mount 2 the bell housin, so he has drilled the holes out (in bell housing) and put 2 new bolts in. only not long enough. so the mount has snapped along with 2 of the guides on the gear box! bell housin is a mess.... :cry:

only option here is 2 replace it. new bell housing is crazy money! so has any 1 got an old gear box or help me any way? hope u can help guys.....

were u based? I`ll be swapping my gearbox out next year sometimes the only thing wrong with it is the end bearings, which whine.

I will probably have the remains of my stuffed up box at some point in the not too distant future (not sure when). The bell housing should be ok, its the gears that are stuffed. I can find out about its condition if that's any help (its in a gearbox place in Leeds at the moment).

It turns out the box I mentioned above is in much better nick than I thought the 5th gear syncro was dragging but that's been sorted and it good to back in the car

The other gearbox I have has a bit of crunchy downshift into 3rd but its otherwise ok. I'm open to offers! Its sat on the bench in Foulds motors at the moment.

i've currently got one sat in the garden shed. Second gear was a bit crunchy so i decided to have a brand new gearbox installed...

I'm close to Leatherhead, J9 M25 and open to offers...
