We were talking about a run in December on Wednesday night. What we need is some input from the westies on dates and locations.
I know Allan and Richard are keen and I'll need to speak to Ronny but I'm sure he'll be up for it.
I'm not fussed where we go as long as we do something.
Actually, it wouldn't be a bad thing to meet at Aberfoyle again and do the Dukes Pass II
cheers, Arch
PS. how about a pub crawl in Edinburgh/Glasgow aswell? Just cause it's a festive time of Year and also Mike might be a father again by then

I can't do wednesday nights, though you could twist my arm for a pub crawl.

Scott, I think you've misinterpreted from Archies poor grammar there.
We were discussing
on Wednesday night the possibility of having a run in Nov/Dec on a weekend that suits most folk.
I'm available any weekend, given enough notice to go and get the car out of hiding...

3 months off ?? But I'm sure you will be looking after the new sprog and won't have anytime for a thrashing in the Elan will you Mike ??
Best plan would be to start a new thread for the run. I'm available most times (except w/e 8 Dec) I'm also thinking that now the cold weather is well and truly here we should have a Sat afternoon session at the whisky club. It beats Christmas shopping with the wife/girlfriend/partner etc.... !! The new list is just out and they've got some crackers.

"Sat afternoon at the whisky club"
a braw idea indeed. I've been thinking about a trip to eastern europe as my annual trip to the "hairy triangle" is due

Scott, I'll check it out this w/e. Mrs Fish's scallops are already on order.
As for the Hairy Triangle I have heard that they've bussed in quite a few babes from eastern Europe for the Xmas rush. I walked past yesterday but didn't think to pop my head in to check it out.
Next Wed. is the last Club Lotus meet this year. Anyone going ? I'm on the fence as usual.

Car is due an MOT, which I'll need to get the finger out and book this weekend - oh and then there's road tax to renew - so depending on all of that I might actually be there in my own Elan for a change. Failing that, I'm still up for it provided I can cadge a lift from someone....

You just made it Mike - well done and congratulations from me and Karen.
I'm down to Hereford at the w/e, briefly up for Xmas day, then up to Aviemore so not sure if and when I can squeeze a headwetting in so I've just had a glass of port as the sun goes over the yardarm. I'll watch this space for further updates.
