ummm, now I'm not usually a betting man, but I think it'd be safe to say that the BRG with the un-painted hardtop would be based in the Ringwood area! 8)

Stef,

(Kier, you're spot on)

That was me and Norma on a run back from Huntingdon having fitted the hardtop the previous evening and about 35 minutes after I took a stone in the screen (foot long crack :( ) Didn't see you (were you in Blipi?) or I'd have flashed (well winked anyway) so to speak.

8) UFO Rendlesham forest 29th December 2005.

A low flying blue object was seen at very low altitude close to RAF Woodbridge and heading toward Orford. An unusual array of lights flashed at oncoming traffic. It was seen to turn at an unearthly speed before disappearing into the morning mist.

OK!!! It was me.

You are clearly still mistaking her colour for the joke pink picture I posted before Donington last year. I could however still spray her up in that colour if you would prefer Sy? Good colour to head the GBoR event eh? Bring just the right image us Elaners need eh?! :-D

Hmmmm.... that gets me thinking... :smt077

Not really spotted but briefly met.....was up at Silverstone yesterday & stayed the night before at the Green Man near the track. Met a mate in the bar who was chatting to 2 ladies who said they hated Porsche drivers & were into Elans...didn't notice any Elans in the car park though. Anyone from here?

You should have hung around for carpark football at midnight!

I was in the blue Chimaera (Blip TV) parked next to the AMV8.

Noticed that car. Mine was the red GT3.

After the 2 bottles of red in the bar I'd have been in no fit state for that! & as there were no dents in the car assume you didn't use it as a goalpost!! It was a blessed relief that start at Silverstone was delayed by 2 hours. It was a great day out, no Elans, but plenty of Elises & a few Exiges, Oh yeah and the dreaded Porsches! Star of the day was a race prepped Ascari in the garage next to us, god did that fly.

Good to say Hi however briefly! Do I get hated for owning a Porsche & Elan or does it depend on what I'm driving at the time :)

Oooo don't think I was in any fit state to play either but it was good fun!

I didn't go to Silverstone after. Mostly due to not getting up till gone 11!

Where do you live? You'll have to join in one of the Local Elan meets or general Northants runs.

I'm in Ascot down in Berkshire, takes around an hour to get up to Silverstone.

I've got to get round to getting the Elan back on the road, I was working overseas until September & it has been laid up for about 2 1/2 years. Used a guy down here called Steve Williams to sort it before so it will be back into him shortly to get properly sorted & back on the road then I'll be up for it.

I was glad we didn't get on track till 11 as i was still the worse for wine at 9 the scheduled start
