hi dans, it's the club lotus monthly meeting. It's first tuesday every month.I've never been but thought i might try it out.Guess you have to be a club lotus member. To be honest i only joined originally coz my insurance was cheaper if i did, but they send you a quarterley magazine which is fairly informative & it's only £40 to join.Got to say the bias is towards the original elan & esprit but it's interesting to read about these models especially as it was the original esprit 007 james bond car that started my lotus obsession anyway! just be nice if there was another m100 owner there if i go along. If your interested in joining tel no. is 01362 691144 or 01362 694459 website www.clublotus.co.uk Emails annerie@clublotus.co.uk or jane@clublotus.co.uk.They have alot of info about elise in mag also & they organise a track day at castle coombe just for lotus cars every year, may 28th this year. It's supposed to be great hope this helps.

Is that the Compass Inn, Tormarton? Not too far from me.

Might try and get over for the December one, a week on Tuesday I guess.

Hi markiep & dans, I've recently moved to the Bristol/Bath area and will try to make the next meeting - assume that's Jan 3rd. So far haven't seen many M100's on the road around here!

I'd love a picture of my car up but have no idea how to do it as i'm such a luddite,Oh also have no picture of my car, surely not an insurmountable problem,i do at least have a camera.Really ought to take some pics as never got an agreed value with insurance due to lack of pics.Maybe one of you can point me in the right direction with the avatar.
I see from your picture elanman that your on a track,am i sharp or what? Was that at castlecoombe? As i'm thinking about doing the club lotus trackday next year, any advice?

To get an avatar, and i'm afraid you will have to get a camera out  , you need to resize a pic to less then 150 x150 pixels and less than 10kb in size.
You then need to clcik on your "Profile" at the top of the page, scroll to the bottom and clcik to Browse to upload an avatar from your machine. Find the pic on your machine, click ok. And Hey Presto....

See what happens :?

Looks like the castle coomb to me, pretty sure I can remember seeing the BRG with white helmet going round. I found the LEC cars there but no people!!!!

Cheers,
Dan

Yep well spotted! - Castle Combe it is but actually last year - couldn't make this year. I definitely recommend the Lotus Owners day (as long as it doesn't rain!) and hope to go again next year.

The green M100 around Castle Combe this year was me :D .

Thoroughly enjoyed it and have every intention of doing it again in 2006.

Dans,

Haven't forgotten that I need to send you a DVD, just a bit busy at present, When I send it it has the footage I took at Castle Combe on it, just the sort of thing a bullet cam was made for (but I don't have one, yet).

No problem on the DVD front.

maybe this should be under a new thread but what do you reckon is the most used four word phrase on this site?I'm going to say "only if it's dry",closely followed by"you are a twat"once people read this reply.Definetely going to be there on jan 3rd,only if it's dry obviously
p.s my photography has not improved.
