yeah.. stupid flights.. I wouldn't know until my schedule for next semester is sorted.. so if I'd need to sign up a while in advance, it's not really an option

As im going, and plan on staying the weekend at Donny, you can fly to Stansted, I can collect you, then its a 2hour drive to Donny.

As for getting in, you can pay on the day, a whopping £6 I beleive, or save £1 if you order in advance as a club member.

And if you made the effort id hardly let you pay to get in, you should know me by now.

Why not check out something like Easyjet or Ryanair (or the Norwegian equivalent/s) and see which UK airports they fly from/to? After all, there will be people going from all over the country. If you are able to put up a posting early enough, then I'm sure that after all the time you've dedicated to the site, SOMEONE won't mind giving up their passenger seat!

If that works out, then the biggest single cost could just be your room for a couple of nights. Or beer of course! :lol:

Worked well, good sightseeing, but not like the drive up in a Lotus would be. Watched a handful of Lotuses pass the bus on the motorway on the way up.

Luckily I know exactly how to do it again if the opportunity presents itself . . .
