We are off to the F1 again this year if anyone fancies tagging along get in touch - we are camping at Stavelot again and although it rains a bit its an amazing atmosphere (and the beer is quite good). Oh, we are in Kent.

I'd be interested as I theink Spa is the best of the F1 circuits. Can't guarantee at this stage as I have no idea what I'll be doing in September. What sort of indicative cost are you talking about for the trip?

Hello Nige, great to hear from you. I was brilliant last year, and we booked tickets for this year immediately on our return. Then the promoter went bust, got our money back luckily, and am presently waiting (card poised) for tickets to go on sale. Last year cost about £175 each for a cheap ticket (wander about in the mud!). They should be cheaper this year, apparently. Campside at Stavelot £10 per night & excellent beer and a constant barbeque (bizarre). 2 mile walk to the track so i`m not forgetting the hiking boots this time. We took the tunnel last year and it takes about 3 hours from calais ambling along at about 75 ish. Very good roads & pretty scenery. The ardennes forest is beautiful. Have a butchers at these:
