Castle Combe - In Jeopardy!

Postby Sy V » Sun 15.01.2006, 09:03

We've had some fantastic fun over the last few years at the Annual Lotus circuit day at Castle Combe.

Now it appears that its days as a circuit could be numbered (if a small group of lefto, pinky, dogooding, bran-munching, lesbian, yoghurt-weaving, troglodyte shirt-lifters get their way).

Please take a couple of minutes to go here and sign the online petition. It doesn't matter where you are in the world or if you track your car or not.
The minimum requirement is for you to supply your name and a current (working) e-mail address (which can be kept completely private).

http://www.petitiononline.com/306007/

That way you can allow us all more days like this:

Good post Sy. This has been going on for some time and I signed the petition almost a year ago. As I understand it the circuit has been in existence as such (since 1950) since before those who are making the noise complaints moved into the area. As far as I'm concerned when they moved into the area they accepted all that went with their choice and only if the circuit was established after they became resident should they have a case.

No. 9436 however...

No. 9433 reads "I'm affraid this is to late, the no gooders won a while back, we appretiate all your support at Combe, but the Minority (11 of them) spoiled it for the many, it was a sad day for motorsport for the whole country, you can be sure others will be hit with the same from other selfless individuals. Keep suporting Combe and show then who really won!" :x
