side repeaters are a Rover part same as 90's Minis and MGF so available from your local friendly Rover dealer

or on 2nd thoughts a Mini specialist
miniworld.co.uk
minispares.co.uk etc so not worth tooling up for.
The rear lights I believe are a very expensive Renault part which would be worth tooling up.
Hi Scott,
Yes i know about the sides, i bought mine for a tenner! I just thought the whole thing being supplied by one company would be good.
Are you interested in a set?
Can anyone PM me the details about the Rear Lights from Renault?
Cheers

Sorry Paul
Obviously got lost in the West/East Mids translation.
Nobody was infering that the Renault already had a clear conversion, just that the lights were the same as ours originally.

I can see the thought process that went on, but like the Channel tunnel we didn't meet in the middle.
Its funny because you sound very normal on your posts! I will need to brush up on my West Midlands speak!

On the original indicators the white side is a plain but the orange side is divided into 3 patterned sections (just like the radicast copies).
Will your indicators have the same pattern as the old or just plain all the way across?
If they are going to be similar to the originals then I'm up for a set of fronts
May consider rears depending on price and time without car.

Hi Gazza,
They will be an exact copy of the originals apart from they will be clear material throughout. Ie no Orange.
If you look at the Celica ones on the first page of this thread you can see the product codes/Toyota and approval logos.
So you in?

Not worried about logos and codes, just if the patterns in the plastic will be similar. If you are sure it will be then I'm in.
Any clue on time scale once you have 6 people interested?

I thought Exact copy made it pretty clear what it would be like.
2-3 weeks depending on existing production.
Best to really think a month though.

The rears, are the reflectors on a cover? We'd be getting clear rear lenses and new covers without the reflectors right? I hate them reflectors.
As long as they go I'm definately in...

IIRC on the rear lights u can remove the inner part (the part which is coloured) so it`s clear but would need coloured bulbs

I`m sure someone of here did this a while back or am i lossing it

Interesting post Monty. Thinking about it the federal elan has different coloured indicators for obvious reasons, so you may be right. Perhaps Sy V could investigate for us if he has a spare set of rear lights...

Regarding the rear lights, the idea is to only change the Indicator part in the corner to clear.
Not sure about the reflectors though.
If the orange indicator comes out easily then that great. I for one though wouldn't want it as just the rear reflector with a orange bulb. Would sooner have the proper job done.
Any way the request is we start with the indicators then the rears.
Cheers
