You know man, that may not be such a dumb idea. However, she does need some attention, is exceptionally slow and due to her rarity will probably be classed as worth more than £1k.
Men are like a fine wine.
They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh * t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Count me in as well.
I'd be glad to show you all around the track and have some suggestions for overnight staying and dinner as well. Jus tet me know what the plans are.
For you guys that come from the north of the UK, Harwich-IJmuiden is a good connection. We can drive together in less then a day from there (i.e. via my place near Amsterdam) to Nürburg.

What's the score then?
Do people want to do the Scumball or an Elan run?

BTW, experience learns it's best to 'do the Green Hell' on a weekday away from special events.
It will be less busy, fewer bikes and without unexperienced tourists and kamikaze drivers then in the weekends.
Best choice when one is not familiar with The Ring
I vote for a weekday at the beginning of September

You're quite right! Experiencing The Green Hell, at least once in a lifetime, is worth it to let a respray wait.

Ok how about going over on Sunday 10th Sept for 4/5 days. Alternatively we could combine Spa visit with Delta's offer????
"You should all come to the anual Oldtimer Granprix, 2. week in August. It's a real show for all with interest for cars, and you can also have a spin on the old ring.
Lotus Klub Denmark use to have our own spot at the nereby campsite, and will be pleased to host you all."

September will be totally impossible for me, got some big things going on then. July is fine though.
Don't want to hold back anyone else but if July is possible I'll have a greater chance of going. Cheers!

The end of August is fine with me, as long the Ringdrive is plannend and possible on a weekday and not in the weekend.
