Okay, the car runs now the drivers door window won't go down. Took off the panel, checked for power at the connector to the motor, took off the panels, and removed the speaker. Looking all over the place but I don't see any broken plastic parts etc. Don't know if it's jammed or could the moter is no good? I checked the window forum but I don't have a clue right now what might be wrong. Guess I'll try and loosen up the mechanism and possibly remove it to try and see what's going on.

Did you remove your center console at some point in your work? If so, maybe the connector isn't all the way hooked in to the switch? Does it light up?

Yes I did remove it to put new cables in. I checked the switch and the power at the window when operating the switch and it's working. I'll check it all out again this weekend and see what I can find.

Not likely as Houdini is getting power at the motor connector.

Sounds like a duff motor or possibly siezed mech to me,

Try: 1. Swapping relays (from the good side) 2. Swap the switch (from the good side) 3. Bypass everything by hot wiring the motor from the battery. If you have to replace the motor, there may be a difference in the plug supplied with the replacement motor and that in the car’s wiring harness. I had this plague me with my 91 Federal.

At one point I had voltage at to the motor, it was a bit low but nothing major, maybe a volt or two, it turned out it wasn't getting enough power to run the motor.

As a side note, I replaced all the relays after the second one died in the fall of last year.

Will give it all a try as you said. I looked again this weekend with a mirror inside the door to check everything out. Didn't find anything that looked suspect and all the rails seemed like the had plenty of grease. I did notice one thing though. I was feeling the cable in the center rail and noticed it had slack. When operating the switch it never moved, which may or may not mean a thing.

Window is down!

I ran 2 wires from the battery and that did the trick. It must be the relay but I don't know which relay is for that door. I guess I'll switch them around until I find the culprit. There are 4 relays and the one closest to the door was for the window that works not sure what the other 3 are for. Maybe I'll just replace all of them.

Went to PepBoys and bought a relay. Found the bad one and it works perfect.
