Well car returned from GST today, all done & dusted & with a new oil cooler on, which was not expected, although i knew it had slight oil leak there, just thought it was a pipe !. Had my Samco hoses fitted, Gerald was very impressed with them, quality & fit wise, & they do look good. Managed to take few pics of door cards & laurel around bonnet badge, just before it got dark. Artwork all done for rear wing laurels, there going on tomorow night, & that will be phase 1 of JPSM100 done !!!

Decals all done as of last night, which means the original project is now complete after 15mths of going through every emotion possible !. So many people to thank, TBR bodyshop, Mike Y, GST Performance, all you lot on here for help & encouragement, & especially Mr Simon Vickers, who came to the rescue when all seemed lost !. I have taken some pics today in the daylight, although the car needs a good clean & polish, but not allowed to polish for a week until decal adhesive has stuck properly, hope i have given you all some enjoyment following this thread, & yes there will be further improvements, Kia rear lights & wilwood brakes, to name a few ?

You sir, have outdone yourself. Lotus themselves would not have done a finer job. Those last 3 pics are all very nice touches. I especially like the gold grille-work.

WOW! How the Hell did you think of all those touches? Not even Lotus would have done a finer job. You should for sure get discounts on any dealer repair-work. Just say "charge it to Lotus" like you're driving a promo car!

I especially like the gold grille work. Is that standard webbing or aftermarket stuff?

Hmm. I thought my last post didn't save. I blame the booze. It's not often I drink.

Paul P.

On a serious note.

You did an extremely nice job! Very cool, and worth the effort!

I'd love to see the car in person someday!

Ah !, your right Brian, & your not the 1st person to say that. I have found a company who can gold plate badges & will be sorting this after Donington, must admit, it was one thing i hadn't thought about till it was mentioned last week. So if anyones got a spare set of badges ?
Nitroman, the grilling is an aftermarket product from Demon-tweeks, should be available anywhere i should think. There are various styles available, do you have Demon-tweeks in the USA or are they just Uk based ?
By the way, i forgot one pic, an uncompleted part of the project, which i will have a tempory solution done by Dony. Hopefully, a permanent solution coming later, Brian ?

Err... I'm fighting this one a bit with my 'outside' machinist so I'm waiting for one of our CNC machines to come open long enough that I can do it in-house  I must get it done before Donny, you can't go to the 'ball' like that :!:

Now thats an idea & a half, Brian !
I know youv'e been busy doing the wilwood brakes, so thought it best to leave you alone at the minute, but if youv'e got the chance, it would finish it off. As for the spark-plug cover, that would look fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!

Paul, just got to say absolutely amazing work!!!

So if the black cars are leading the pack into Donny, will you and Costas have to drive alongside each other as "most unique"???

Great job!
