OK - who's up for a run to Kirriemuir and Braemar on Sunday 26th Feb. ?
The plan would be to leave from Edinburgh via Perth and then drive on the interesting backroads to Alyth/Kirriemuir/Glen Doll possibly hitching up with any Aberdonian sheep shaggers or any others from the West or central region. We could have lunch/drinks at the fabulous GlenIsla Inn/Hotel before a quick thrash to Braemar for tea/coffee/shortbread/bagpipes before a return home.
Any takers ?

Due to apathy and lethargy from the rest of the eastern Clan we should probably re-arrange this to later in the year when the weather is better - sometime in Spring perhaps ??

Mark,
more likely to get enthusiasm at Donington on Friday evening. Get names while they're pissed.

I'd love to do both Stevo but I've changed plans to watch the match on Sat. and get generally pished up. Because of that I've arranged with The Boss to see her family for lunch on the Sunday.
Will catch up at Donny and arrange something for Spring ?
Cheers,
Mark

What a result. The whole of Edinburgh was pished and the Hairy Triangle was mayhem. There were more Brazilians on show than English !!

Hey Scott - I'm up for that. Probably camp at the site though and walk down the road for the scallops. Might even tempt JohnW as I think the B and B at Mrs Fish's is fairly reasonable ?

Mark, I'd better check with the Mrs. hadn't mentioned it to her.
Don't know If you can edit the title of this thread cos some of the others are probably missing it.
Whats your quickest route to Applecross ? Inverness and down or via Fort Billy

Scott,
For me its up to Inverness then westwards. On a good day it's a 4 - 4 and a half hours drive. You're probably best heading up via Fort Bill ?
May be best to start a new thread - "Fish supper at Mrs Fish's" ?
