- A nice Ruby Red Elise
- Enright wearing food
- Sy's snoring (unless it's Gail..)
- Fire exit entry :? (to the hotel room)
- Rambo's hair (kinda cute though)
- Rambo's one man bar crawl (non alcoholic at that..)
- Free drinks (inc champagne) at a restaurant :smt045
- Cold/no meal at the same restaurant :(
- Wind of all types... :smt017 :?
- Algridas (excuse the spelling if I messed that one up ) asking questions about signs and driving while playing taxi
- Great curry

I think he got them out after 20mins, so I doubt he did it 'in time'.

I remember your accent, too. It was a bit difficult to understand at times, but facinating still .I don't think I'd have been anywhere near if I'd tried to spell your name  . It was great meeting you both

I still didn't get a run in Missy  Would I go break her? So unfair...

Putting faces to "nicknames" and knowing better some of you ppl was the best thing that has happened to me for a long time.

Having met dozens of ppl, it really amazed me how different and at the same time alike was everybody to the other, the Elan Bonding..... I may have lost my entire Family recently but I found a new big Elan Family among all of you. I want to make crystal clear that I recieved a very warm treatment, beyond my expectations.

I Apologize for not being able to demo the true capabilities of the Sh4rk since we only used minimal setups but hope to payoff next year and I pray for a warmer weather. You may think the car was fast but for me it was crawling.

Will post further comments when I get back to greece nad my eyes dont hurt (on the ferry now from Italy to Greece)

I also promise especially to Doug, that I will do some videos that he is gonna bite his nails for not beeing there this year ;P

Funniest moment - speaking to Dodgy Darren at the MOTO services just before the off and in comes Stripey

Darren ..... "ere coomes the fookin' Squire of Bromsgrove. Ooohh loook - he's gone and foookin' stalled it in front of all them people"

You have to say this in a heavily accented Brummie accent for full effect !!

Saddest moment - being in Castle Donny on your own on a Sat. night, drinking Kaliber non alcoholic lager and ginger beer and looking for your mates in grotty pubs filled with smoke and Bacardi Breezer fuelled spotty youffs. Thankfully I caught up with a gang of sane Lotus eaters in the mock Tudor pub

Mark

PS Pleased you thought my hair was "cute" Liz. It's normally the subject of much derision from Monty, Dico and others but at least it saves me wearing a hat/beanie/baseball cap when the top's down. It was also trendy once - but that was way back in the 70's

In my defence (and ESM will back me up). I had just adjusted the idle control screw, to lower my RPM. I had obviously tweaked it a bit too much as...when I lifted off on entry to the car park, the engine died.

I did appreciate the howls of derision though - bastards!

Oh, and a point of order!

Dodgy doesn't speak Brummie - he's a Black Country Boy.

The two are separated by the M5.

Hope I haven't offended Darren with the use of the word Brummie when he's really a Black Country boy. It's probably as insulting as inferring someone's from Glasgow when they're from Edinburgh and vice versa !!

Lets hope the "howls of derision" weren't captured by the Jimp video footage Sy ??

Good to see the support and contributions in setting up and manning the stand, really appreciated everyone, sorry I wasn't there to help dismantle.

Thanks also to the superb colour co-ordinating of the convoy which proved once again to be very spectacular!

Big thanks to the cable guy... 25 minutes?? Hmmmm. Still 55 was very impressive and jobs a good un! With skills fresh and hands still dirty it was bizzare how the 'next job' cropped up with such good timing!

Real shame it was soooooo cold, kinda put a damper on the car park tyre kicking.

Oh, and next year I am deffo getting a hotel with a bar. Although I don't remember much of the walk bak to the Travelodge from the Holiday Inn!

I think a bigger effort to get us all booked into the same place will make the evening socials much better.

Anyhow, it was very good to see so many friendly faces again! Look forward to the next big meet!

Well volunteered Stef. You could even tag it on to the GBoR theme - the most M100 owners crammed into one room !!
