You're a brave man; trusting someone with cranial worms on your car. ;-)

Having just said that, there's always a risk that it's you in the photo and this is a DIY project - that's a chance I'll have to take though.

Thanks for bringing the new photos here, to your original thread. :D

If your going down the Chrome painted car route, your car will be an eye catcher and im sure show winner.

Takes balls to go for that though.

Mirror Painted Hood Cover

Postby johnbenk » Thu 30.03.2006, 20:52

Hi

All is now revealed. The hood cover is to be used as a display area for the Peaks and Dales H&HCVC CHARITY CAR RUN (see attached)

I attend a lot of CAR SHOWS each year with the H&H and collect money for the various Charities concerned.

I want to have a "Push the Button" theme for any parent who wishes to have a child "FIRE UP A LOTUS". (will need a new starter if this takes off) PROVIDED THEY MAKE A DONATION TO OUR CHARITY.

The CLUB awards can be displayed on the BOOT of the Lotus. If the Hood
cover is left open with the Battery cover lipped into the rear hood and the cover upright the MIRROR EFFECT should show the awards well.
