Tks to all for congrats messages.
Was out with car today (showing off to visiting family) but alas heater has decided to throw it's hand in - how come these things never happen in Summer?

Anyway, long & short of it, I will also give Boness a miss tonight but will arrange a wetting of babes heed with those available later next week. Will start separate thread.
Off for a wee dram now to thaw my legs - any excuse will do

I wont have wheels but would really like to catch up with everyone again, so if someone feels like picking me up on the way past that would be great. Archie also mentioned going, so I need to give him a call.

I'll try and be at the creche at 20:00 (ish) If not there, see you at Bo'ness.
I think that the Gyle's more convenient for RichyP so maybe he'll turn up as well ?

3 cars and 4 bodies last night.
All arrived at the same time - Scott having a high speed run with an Elan Sprint and me and passenger Alan (AB2CV) desperately trying to keep up with BigErch testing his new Everest chip to the limits. You definitely need more of a throaty roar to that exhaust though Arch - its decidedly wimpy
Good to catch up over a beer or 2

That Elan Sprint bloody shifted, so nimble and straight on the throttle whereas I'm waiting for the turbo to boost.
Jim Clark w/e - get some day passes from hers in doors chaps and lets go and play

Stevo is in Paisley with a blue one, lowered and usually driven somewhat quickly
Whats your colour and where did you buy, not SMS ?
Not seen much else in glasgy the past couple of yrs, used to be a couple of tatty ones down Byres Rd but maybe they've been scraped.

Welcome onboard Henry.
Mark,
Henry bought the red one from Scottish motor services, managed to get a big discount on price.
Stevo,
It is red, not pink so keep a look out.

Yeah got a grand off the price and got a good trade in price on my car I had been offered 1300 against a BMW at another garage and SMS gave me 2500 so thats a fair amount off there window price plus its going back in to them next week to have the CAS changed all of which is covered in there warranty, they where really good actually no arguing about it or trying to get out of fixing it they just said they would get one ordered up straight away so cant complain.
Im loving driving the Elan but im already thinking about an Everest chip!
