Mine's unmolested, bar the radio should you want the use of it.

I did a bit on Discovery Home & Leisure some years ago when they interviewed me for some program links with my old Spitfire. They gave me a copy of the series of links on a video. Unfortunately my Dad managed to record over them with Coronation Street :(

Sy,

I am happy to be involved - the blue one is very standard / original apart from the BBR kit. Whether it meets the criteria remains to be seen - I paid low 6s for it...

"We are interested in this story if it involves a certain model, now seen as collectible or cult or for whatever market reason will not depreciate in value. If the owner wishes to sell it on then he/she would still be able to get the price that they originally paid for it, hence the term, "free motoring."

..and haven't tried to sell it (yet) My availability will depend on when it is, of course.

OK

Daisybeck (the TV company) have just been on, they've asked whether we can fulfill an obligation early in the season rather than late.
I told them that we like a challenge, so here are their preferred dates:

1. 30th April - Catton Hall, Staffs
2. 28th May - Gaydon, Midlands, just south of Warwick
3. 18th June - Sandon Hall, Staffs

All of these are central in England too, so now we need availability from those who have offered their services thus far.

Over to you volunteers; please state availability for all three venues/dates and send three pictures of your Elan (outside, engine bay and inside) to me at sjv@REMOVEeclipse.co.uk ...

Here's a little bit more that I can find out about these events:

HERITAGE MOTOR CENTRE (Gaydon)
The world's finest collection of historic British cars! With over 150 of our cars on display, you'll find many famous names that have made motoring history.

SANDON HALL CLASSIC CAR AND TRANSPORT SHOW

That date is free for me so far!

Just a suggestion - why not tie in in the TV thing at Gaydon with the annual camping trip ?? I think someone suggested that long w/e anyway ?? I'm sure Warwick is fairly central for most folks. Not sure how many Scotties would make the pilgramage but the Gaydon bash sounds like fun ?? No mention of a beer tent though !!

Anyway, as I said, just a suggestion and I'm sure there'd be a good LEC turnout ?

Mark

Edited There's even a chance for LEC to win "Stand of the day", the M100 to win "British vehicle of the year" and for Stef to win "Mini of the year" What more could you want ??

WTS on the camping thing. More than happy to do both personally.

I hope to be receiving details on a campsite in the lakes, near a good run we can do which allows FIRE! :-D

Sy, you can pencil me in if you like as a willing participant, cos I'll be happy to turn up at any of the 3 dates mentioned above for a bit of a social (any old excuse).

No point in submitting pics though as I'm not the slightest bit interested in selling - ever! And mine is quite far removed from standard anyway.

I think we should discount the second option because of the Castle Combe clash; which would leave us with two:

1. 30th April - Catton Hall, Staffs
2. 18th June - Sandon Hall, Staffs
