Took a shower in driver-side window glass last week... can anybody recommend a reliable source for a window replacement in the Bay Area? Thanks.

don't know who makes the window glass for the car now
worth calling your nearest dealer (who will only care about selling Elises to rich guys) or better yet call Lotus USA in Atlanta and ask them. It may have to come from the Motherland
If you have not lost any parts then really all you would need would be the glass itself! It's possible you could need bits and bobbins replaced but if it was working fine then that's less likely. The job is not too fun, but not too hard. I did my pass window last month as part of a full stripdown/rebuild so can help as needed.
