right hand engine mount removal

Hi everyone,
I've got a 96 S2 and was just about to change all the belts. Even with the engine mount centre bolt removed and jacking the engine up or down within it's reasonable limits, the (4 off 6mm allen key) r/h mounting to engine bolts seem inaccessible. These types of bolts are usually prone to chewing up on the inside if the key is not a good fit so i'm a bit concerned. I was hoping i'd missed something and one of you guys has done this before and can point me in the right direction, e.g. do I need to drop another mount so I can reach the bolts or is there a better specialist tool rather than the socket set I am using.
Any advice would be a great help.

As you say access to these bolts is difficult because of the limited clearance. Use a flat-backed 3/8" drive ratchet (snap on / mac etc). Get a hex socket and cut it down with a grinder etc. Gives you just enough room to use the tool.

Thanx Oliver for the advice, I was thinking of welding up a cut down key but your idea sounds better so i'll try it first. I live in kent too so maybe i'll see you at one of the future meets.
