Hood for S2

I was wondering if anyone could help me find a replacement hood for an S2.

On reading other posts it looks like Trim Technology are the only option but their website says the hood is out of stock (but the seals on their own are in stock).

Does anyone have any recommendations/advice?

One complication is the car is currently in France. I have a very good bodyshop nearby who are used to specialist cars so am reasonably confident they should have the skill to fit it - or is this a job requiring specialist equipment and so would I have to bring it back to the UK?

I am a newbie, too. I contacted TrimTech last week. They do have hood in stock. What condition is your S2 hood?

Thanks for letting me know, I've emailed them to see if they can supply the hood.

The current hood is fine (in fact perfect) except for a large hole caused by vandals some years ago. Have had it taped up with duck tape for a long time, on the basis that as soon as you repair it they come back and do it again. Now the car is in France I'm hoping to have less of a problem so am finally getting round to fixing it properly (only to find that Lotus had in the meanwhile discontinued selling the hood...)
