Opinions on Stickers

Postby malbon » Wed 05.07.2006, 09:25

No…not Panini Football '92 or World Wildlife fund 1986. I've got a guy doing me some stickers for the door bottoms of the Elan in dark silver/yellow to compliment my Pacific blue/Anthracite wheels. The thing is my rear badges (that I aquired off Paul P - cheers Paul !) have been sabotaged. The Elan and SE were nicked by some pikey and the Lotus - the silver coating pulled off when I was washing it - revealing the underneath in Black - I've left it on and it looks quite good ! But I was thinking about some custom stickers for the rear to replace them Something that looks quite small and understated. The Lotus will be in as standard a font as possible. Possible using the elise style Lotus stickers that are on the site but I might try and do a custom Elan SE ? What are peoples thoughts. Has anyone ever done any photoshopping of anything like this. Will stickers look crap compared to the badges due the boot being at a slant ?

Opinions please ??

Each to thier own :-D

The side stickers I've gone for are the Lotus Sport without the Motorsport car image on. I was thinking of something similiar on the rear without over modernising the dated elan back end !

don't know if it's of interest, but I've designed some I intend to use on mine. I was planning on using an adhesive 'sticky back plastic' with this on as pait chip protectors on the panel in from of the rear wheels.

I designed smaller versions of these as details to add into a recess in the aftermarket wheels.

What do you think?

I can see it, too. I might be interested in a few stickers if you have a batch made...

yeah... it's the first one that is absent on mine.
Bugger... It worked the first time and then I tried to resize it to fit it onscreen and it corrupted on me. I'll upload a PDF one... that be ok?
