Only a scratch on the front. The rear end is as good as ever. I saw it last night so can be absolutely sure about that.

Seems that things are not as bad as I was first told (Chinese Whispers). I'm sure Stef will post the full details in due course once the embarresment is over

Including details of the new "chip(s)"?

Must say the car looks like it gets plenty of use though. A one woman mission to rid the country of flies eh Stef

So do I, but a few years ago Sarah bent a brand new garage door when she tried to start it
BTW Does anyone still point their wheels into the kerb when parking on a hill?

The Elan lives in the garage.
The escort - which is parked in front of the garage - is never left in gear.
I only do that because I get worried my missus will rear end the Elan.

To be fair, its not just girls, my next door neighbour did this - smartly dressed in his RAF uniform, with the 'I'm in the raf, I'm great' swagger and his 'mav and iceman' shades on. Jumped in his car and drove straight through the garage door. Like a tosser.

I've heard another rumour Gary.

"Had my SE for nearing 4 years, a superb car and still puts a massive grin on my chops!

The S2 has options like air con and bigger wheels. In some ways you can say it is more refined. However, it is slightly slower and for some reason they generally cost more. Wheels of course can be changed and air con IMO is not required. Mileage is not something to really concern about either.

If you need help in finding an M100 let me know. I know of a Blue half leather interior for sale and a wonderful red example which has recently been treated to re-spray, new hoses and new hood.

Good luck!"

For sale ?? One carefull lady owner ??!!

The damage sustained to the front nearside quarter last year of course, slightly to the rear of the current crack.

Stef,

You need better brakes.
