Hmm. M100 in During April = sometime before the summer?

My guess would be a month or two after that at the earliest, by the time they tender, lotus accept, prototypes made, tested, remade, gear up production and actually supply the finish products.

They can't come soon enough for me, once available it will be new seals + new roof = no paddling (hopefully)

They could have mine in now, just loan me a europa or an elise/exige + winch :D

Update, Lotus have restated that the A pillar seals will be available end of April 06............

Just got off the phone to Hethel - The initial samples were crap. Another pair are due there this week and will be fitted to a Milton Keynes-based car. If all's well (and they have 50+ back orders), they'll be available later in the summer.

No, I am not saying they are available. I haven't checked lately. In theory, I should get a call from the dealer when they are in but I check once a month ish anyway. Sorry for any confusion, I was just clarifying how to order spares in general.

just had this email from lotus

Ref your email to our technical dept regarding Elan seals please note the
following information :


B100V0117F Weatherseal A Pillar LH £122.23 + VAT
B100V0118F Weatherseal A Pillar RH £122.23 + VAT

We have been out of stock of these, the new stock are now being tested once
the test is complete & the seals have passed stock will be available foe
sale however I do not have a due date at the moment.

which seals are these? are these the ones going left and right of the windscreen right up to where the glass window meets the roof?

theyre out of stock everywhere as theyve not been made for years.....lotus are having some samples made up at the moment and will have some made and ready for sale when theyre ready....
