Lotus Elan Central

Buying my first Elan very soon (cash in hand), and so I'm hoping to have a look at a few elans in the same place and also chat to a few Elan owners face-to-face for advice, etc.

If anyone knows of a meeting in Norfolk, or anyone out there who'd be happy showing me around their car, it would be greatly appreciated.

, so how about the nearest meet to Norfolk?

I just need to make up my mind on which colour I prefer! I'm hoping to see the following - BRG, NMY, Azure and Pacific Blue.

I have cash waiting to buy an elan, but there's a Honda S2000 in my local garage that is calling to me - PLEASE HELP ME, OTHERWISE I'LL MAKE THE WRONG DECISION AND BE DRIVING AROUND IN A SOULLESS HONDA!

Dave, I'd love to come down and see your elan - I've now seen a Red, Silver and Yellow one and am thinking Blue is the colour for me...

Thanks DaveT for taking me for a 1.5 hour drive in your elan!

It was great to see the car, listen to your advice and experiences and also experience first-hand the reaction of others when you're dirving around!

I didn't by the NMY Elan I went to see on Sunday as the guy wouldn't drop the price enough to get the sale, but I'm sure it won't be long before I'm driving around in one...

Hello Shaun,

I'm about 5 miles from Hethel, and when in funds will be looking for a good Elan also.

I'd be interested in your experiences to date, also which examples you would definitely avoid - the local guy who seems to be cornering the market, for example (I read the threads about the roof leaks).
