Ok ... so I did it -- US driver side. Another genious design.

I start to think Lotus intentionally did all these, just that we all can have fun :shock:

Good karma helped me. Finally out the bolt. :shock:

Ah the light motor mounts... when repairing mine I wondered "why does this bolt feel so greasy, I don't remember putting any grease on it."
After several minutes of struggling, and eventually dropping the bolt I discovered the fibreglass opening had sliced my fingers and the slippery fluid was blood!

Ah well, at least on a calypso red car it doesn't show

In fact I told him I rebuilt the right side and I gave him the parts to rebuild the left side for when it went bad -- but honestly the left had never acted up with me as the boss :smt066

Its not finishing your projects when it gets dark out that you have to worry about. Its when you finish and its starting to light out AGAIN that you need to be concerned about........... :wink:

Yeah, but look how clean the chassis rail and brake pipes are! Mine are covered with crud and rust due to being used on our English turnpikes for 15 or so years...

Need a bit of guidance guys.

My headlight motor has just died. Usual symptoms: for the last couple weeks, the motor has been whirring for 10 seconds after they are turned off. Then today, they just didn't pop up and there appears to be no strength in the motor to lift or hold the pod open.

Do any of you guys know if there is a UK supplier of a repair kit or am I needing to go to Rodney Dickman? I've emailed AB motorsport for their option but my email has come back undeliverable.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I am wrong. Was working on the car today (removing the oil cooler) and inside my fenders are also white. My bad
