I am considering to repaint my Lotus Elan
But i am considering not to take an official colour I am thinking of doing it in either oilblack or smoked grey. What do u think about not using original colours ?

I am not planning to sell that car again i will keep it as a classic so classic should be original colour no?

The thing is, for a good job u need to remove the clam and other panels and maybe even remove the engine so u can spray the bulkhead
