"Convoying in"
==========

Are we planning to rendezvous and arrive in convoy, or making our way there in dribs and drabs?

If I recall correctly, we met up at Warwick Parkway last year and drove in together (but of course we were the featured car then)

Comments?

Geez, um, it's about an hour from there (nod to plod). We want to arrive when? 10? Earlier?

If we are meeting others for a convoy I'll play to those plans!

We can't join the convoy as already in Bham for the weekend. Should be there in 1 or 2 Elans though...

Stef wrote:Well there is the Trading Post pub where some of us have met before.

It's just off the A14 into Kettering on mid Kettering exit where the A43 joins from Northampton.

Literally come off the A14, up a slight hill and you see the Trading Post pub on your right. Turn right at the mini roundabout an into the car park.

I don't really know of may other good stop off/meet points before you hit the M6.

Sounds good enough to me.

What kind of time would you like to meet??

If you could get them to put breakfast on Stef ( with your powers of persuasion), Eh ?

What? The pub?

They moaned about our PH meeting there earlier this year even though we brough in business and provided car park eye candy!

Don't think they will be willing to do any favours!

I'll be having brekkie before leaving, or while driving.

Hi All,

Myself and Angie will be attending, but as it's from the other direction (M5, M42, M40) won't be meeting up for a convoy. :(

However, as we're new to all this, are there any plans for any sort of 'meet' at the venue, or is it just a case of doing your own thing? :smt102

The plan is to bring the elan, but judging from the amount of stuff i've already agreed in principle to buying (not allowing for anything else seen on the day) may bring the vectra instead........

Nah....sod it, she can sit on anything else we get.....it'll fit in somehow! :D

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Ooo Geoff!

Me likes me likes!

Can we get some transfer stickers made up??

Paul. We don't cause trouble, much. And I'm never involved, much. Thinks they have kinda accepted us now realising the business we brought them and car park interest. Had a good gathering last night!

Transfer stickers suitable for sticking on the car :?: Is that what you meant Steff? If so, I would be interested.
