header rail drain holes

erm I think mine have been filled......
are there supposed to be holes in the corenr of the header rail to allow rain water to run down a tube in the a post??.....
well I kinda know there is but I can see mine and its the worst point for leaking when it tips it down....and what makes it more obvious is that fact that it only happens when youre stationary......
has anone got a pic of their header rail with the drain hole location???....
I need to make some holes but am trying to avoid making a mess....

but after Ive had my new hood fitted I get 'ponding' at each over hang.....
I dont quite understand.......
the water ingress seems to be at the point where the s2 hood was extended.......sometimes it even appear to run along the inside on the seals on the frame and wet my arms......
confused!!!!

the objective is to prevent the water getting in past the seal in the first place, not to let it drain out afterwards. This can be achieved by:

"adding extra foam seal (or silicon sealant) to the top of the windscreen to prevent water getting in past the header seal and dripping down at the A-pillar. This is a better solution than the "drain tube" method in my opinion, as it treats the cause (water getting past the seal, not the effect (water dripping onto your knees)."
