the white is a ground coat that goes on top of the primer to seal it and for the pearl coat to reflect off of.

nice chop shop, Stevo. hope the dust amount is small enough to not mess up the top coat.

looks as though you have shaved the door locks (and maybe boot lock?)? are you putting poppers on them?

Does this tie in with the 2 tins of Pacific Blue 2k paint for sale elsewhere?????????
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

monty. i done the wheels with some halfrauds pee-jo steel grey. they have a bit more blue pigment in them than your normal anthrasite(sp?) grey to contrast with missys new body. as for the final colour im going to post some pics after the laquer has dryed and i've colour sanded and polished the whole car.

1 week.

I knew you'd opt for the orange. After all, 21 out of 29 people can't be wrong.

Looks good so far but I'm sure will look far better in the flesh or taken with a good digital SLR
