Central locking not working on passenger side, can hear solenoid but no movement of door mechanism.
Any tips or info appreciated before I start to strip the door down.

Badger,
If you can hear the actuator working OK it sounds like it might just be a cheap fix of something fallen off.
You should be able to get to it just by taking off the door card and rear black plastic blanking-plate, which is quite easy once you've done it once. A (partial) copy of Charlie's write-up is
here :
Be careful with the door card removal - there are a lot of screws and bolts, some well hidden (you'll need 2 orange clips also as you'll probably break them). When I strip the door down I draw an outline of the door on a sheet of paper and stick the screws & bolts in their relative locations so that I can replace them exactly the same way. To get the black oblong panel off, I just push the centre dowels through the plastic rivets which allows you to remove the rivets. You can then find them inside the door bottom and re-use them.
Good luck and don't force anything.

is your door lock slide/switch on the door able to lock and unlock the door??
it may just be that the orange clip has loosened or failed at its rear and its not attached to the rod linkage anymore?

Doug
The door lock slide/switch does open and close the door manually.
Now I'm aware of the " orange clips " I will be checking those first.
Thanks
