Just retutned after aprox 8 and a half hours driving. Didnt buy the car very over priced for the condition, seals were absolutly shot all round including windscreen, front light motors intermittent, hood frosted and torn, boost gauge not functioning, dash light dimmer broken, headlight switch again broken, plastic flaps behind seats for hood were snapped off,
good points: good drive, good paint job, nice interior, wheels well refurbed,

The guy got angry saying i wasted his time? maybe if someone was truthfull about its actual condition i wouldnt have driven 230+ miles each way

So its back to the drawing board, im viewing 2 very close to me in Wakefield tomorrow night. Not in the colour i was wanting but hey, they seem to be in very good nick so fingers crossed!

Oh well, after a drive like that he thought you had wasted his time! Keep looking the cars are out there (32 on Auto trader yesterday). There are 2 at Sportomotive in Salisbury at the moment (dark metallic (pacific?) Blue S2 and a Silver SE, £7995 and £5995 on the windscreens respectively, they've had them a while). It's worth being patient.

Has anyone had a look at the Palacio on Pistons i think for £7500 ? Sorry AutoTrader There is a nice BRG on Pistons that looks a cracker aswell a bit high. M&A

Sorry i thought you where looking at the £7500 bracket. That black on pistons they don't come up very often in that colour. M£A

Sorry that you had a wasted journey (though you did get to meet one of the stars of LEC, in my view).

Tell me, were those cream-coloured door cards newly moulded in that colour, or painted?

But please don't rush in and buy a car in any other colour than the one you really want, otherwise you may never be totally happy with what you get. Bide your time and the right one will come along.

FWIW I think you made the right decision in the end yesterday - it may be useful to add a link to that car so that other potential buyers can judge for themselves.
