Elan buying

Postby John Tsakas » Thu 08.04.2021, 14:02

Hi, i am interesting to buy a ELAN here in Greece but i don't know if it is original limited edition. How can i check it that? Its midnight blue number 419. Inside looks like the SE that i had in 2004.
Thank you ☺️

Wheels, hood, handbrake, seats and centre console are the obvious differences.

Galvanised rear wishbones, cat, O2 sensor and battery cable mounted on turret top are less obvious.

The vin number will also tell a story.

Hi John,

The S2 database has no entry for #419, so I can't help from that.

If you go to the 'Manuals' link at the top of the page, there is a VIN decoder picture which may help to establish the origin of the car you are looking at. https://d4pinky.wixsite.com/m100-docume ... m-ke4h4nq1
