The title is a bit stupid but couldn't think of a better one... Does Elan have a protective member underneath the engine? If it does what does it look like, does anyone have a picture of it? Is it the part presented in Parts Manual 30.15A G100A0274F Underframe Assembly?
Sorry if all that sounds silly, mine has something like that but it looks very non original and certainly not like the part mentioned above in the manual...

I know the prongeron, there is something else on mine just underneath the engine, maybe I'm the one who should take a photo really. I'll jack it up and see if I can take a good shot. I'll be back tomorrow with a photo.
