KIA chassis in SE

I'm thinking about fitting a KIA vigato chassis into my SE.
I can't find much about the differences between the lotus and KIA but understand the main difference is the engine.
Anyone any thoughts on this?

What's the need to change the chassis? I would expect the engine mounts to be different, not sure what else might be. Seems a lot of work unless there's a good reason.

WHY...Have you bent your chassis

IMHO the chassis will be the same, but the longerons/engine mounts willl be slightly different.

and the VIN Number will have to be addressed

The chassis was twisted by previous owner. I appreciate it won't be a five minute job.
Not much in the way of a spares market out here so looking at the options. Off to see a white Kia today, yes Speed Demon!

Ok if your original chassis is twisted it makes sense to change it. Must be some twist though and is it preventing the wheel geometry being set up as it should be? The spares market might be a bit thin where you are but have you considered importing from UK/ I belivee their is still a chasis at Lotus and there may be a few available here (one or 2 maybe anyway).
