rewaxing tip

Postby norman lovie » Wed 16.01.2013, 11:20

picked up a wee tip when doing a re wax on an existing component that has been previously waxed ( like the inside of the chassis)
first off apply a thinned down coating of new wax, this will help blend into the old wax as the thinners will dissolve into the old wax, it will also help the new wax flow into any exposed area's seams etc..
leave this for a few days to let the thinners flash off - then apply your fresh heavier coating of wax on top of this
