Hi guys,
Been posting little issues here and there recently in preperation for finally getting my Elan back on the road.
When turning the steering wheel at the moment, I'm getting a little whine rather than the 'psst' I used to get when I first owned the car. Does it need power steering fluid? Has anyone else had this issue?
Again,
Any help\suggestions would be appreicated.
Paul.

Paul,
You can check the level of PAS fluid yourself obviously

There is a min. and max. mark on the extension of the filler cap of the PAS reservoir.
Did you check the PAS belt?

The belt itself seems fine.
Do I need a particular fluid - it is easy to drain off?
