Hi cant seem to find in any diagrams, what are the jacking points reinforced to ?
surely there must be some strengthening in the glass fibre somewhere

Big steel box section bonded into the tub. Often badly corroded

Search the forum for "outriggers".

The jacking points are where the outriggers, sills and A or B posts meet, all made of steel box section.
As said above, plenty of info on repairs when the dreaded rust attacks these bits.
Also look at the parts catalogue (in Manuals): always a good source of what something looks like.

Phew
These M100s need research before buying ,I am lucky just checked mine and are sound.
I brought it not knowing a lot about lotus and fingers crossed on the issue,i brought off a guy who had it from a year old and had full service,but was garaged last 10 of them,lots of recommisioning not driven it yet but looking foreward to it .
This site offers a wealth of info and thumbs up to whoever organises it
