Plus 2 Signature wheel on M100?

I searched, honest.

Has anyone swapped the M100 stereing wheel with one from a Plus 2 and if so, is it do-able or should I go the Momo etc route?

Plus 2 wheel is 15" diameter, no idea about the spline/boss. knobbly bits involved to do this swap.

Yes, why ? I can understand retro fitting a Nardi, but a +2 wheel

Indeed I do and I have a Plus 2 siggy wheel lying around, maybe should just sell it and put a Nardi, Momo or whatever the flavour is this month.

Ahhh... that explains it. The UK M100 SE steering wheel is nicer to use on a long drive than a Plus2 so if you are OK to lose the airbag, fitting one of those would be an easy conversion.

Unfortunately, adapter hubs for the Nardy, Momo or others that match the M100 FED spine are few and far between.

Then, you have to decide what to do about the clock spring and getting a connection for the horn button (without cutting the harness up).

You CAN install a UK wheel as the hub DOES fit the FED column. Drill the proper hole for the horn brush and you are good to go - except the FED wheel is basically the same OD as the UK wheel, so except for the aesthetic look, there is no improvement on steering.

just a thought
the chapman signature wheel on the +2 is about £600~£800 in good condition......and if you can find one
the boss is also too small so you'd have to butcher it.......
this would then make it worth nothing........
