Hi Geoff,
Just to say that today I can post again, so I don't know if you fixed anything or not? Anyway, it's working, thanks

For the benefit of everyone else, the problem was that when I tried to do anything (post reply, start new topic, send PM) I got this message "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again."
Cheers

Hi HJ2!
Cheers!
Sadly I still don't have much time to a) drive the Elan, b) discuss the Elan here! I'm not making life any easier for myself either! But maybe I'll find some time in the weeks to come.

Hi all,
I had this problem again, couldn't post for two weeks. I don't know what fixed it, my feeling is that it's something on the server side as I tried with two different Firefox versions on different computers. I did try PMing too but it didn't work. I emailed Geoff but perhaps my emails just went to junk folder. I tried using the contact form above but it also didn't work. What's the backup plan for people who can't get on the forum? I know it's not exactly critical infrastructure, however if I was in a pickle with the Elan somewhere out on the road and wanted help this is where I'd come... (in fact, have had to do just this in the past!).
Cheers

There was a problem with the site that Geof (well his son) fixed.
It was highlighted on the Facebook groups for our Elans. Quite a few of us are also on there, so we were able to pick up and report the issue.
Lotus Elan Central is one of those groups if you "do" Facebook.

Hi FredJohn,
Thanks for the update. I did think of the Facebook group and requested to join yesterday (before I posted here) but not sure what happened - when I look now I just see "Join Group" again.
Anyway, good to know it's been fixed.
Cheers

Hi everyone,
Well thanks to Smith Jr for sorting it out!
How do I join this Facebook group? I put in a request but I suspect my Facebook nickname looked weird... I'll try again - remember I lived in France!
Cheers

Billy, I haven't seen a request that I can associate to you - but if you go on to FB and the Lotus Elan Central group, I'll approve you!
