Dear David (aged 33¼),
Those sneaky admin types have made it really easy without telling anyone. When you're composing your message, click the
URL box (top right under the subject box) and a pop up box will prompt you for the URL (http:\\www...... bollocks) and then the link text. This then inserts the cunningly renamed link in your message. You can format the visible text in the usual way {big, bold, purple etc}. e.g.
[ url=http://www.wankandpsank.com][b ]My favourite website[/b ][/url ] - {I've added extra spaces so you can see it}
becomes
My favourite website.
Now stop picking your spots and stop looking at those disgusting websites!

You can either set the picture size on your camera to 640 x 480......
or leave the camera set to a large size and then resize the pictures you want to upload using a programme like Paint Shop Pro.

You've got an extra http// in there! -
http://http//www.lotuselancentral.com/f ... 629#138629
The URL box has to be empty when you paste the link in. It should read something like this (without the extra spaces I've put in so you can read it) .....

Once upon a time we had a test thread for such occasions
I suppose we could always use the east mid thread

Love it... we could have an unwritten rule that if anyone pops up and asks a stupid question we link them to...
No, that's naughty.

went to right hand search and put in " rear screen replacement"
knowing that nothing would appear for it .

I think creating a page counts as editing ! Sounds like you just need to wait for a confirmation email before you can do any updates.
(idiots guide to updates . An update would be an addition, change or delete !)

As far as the wiki is concerned, creating a new topic is the same thing as editing an empty topic...
Otherwise it'd be like the forum letting people without accounts start new threads but not reply to existing ones.
we don't want just any old riff raff getting in there and making pages
