Is it possible to read your PM’s without having to open them.

I have sent a message which is still in my outbox I know that the person i have sent it to has been on LEC without opening this message.

Yes, you can read the message in the email notification you receive telling you that you have a new pm.

But only if you've elected to receive e-mail notification of PM's in your profile.
