It is a good car but needs some TLC on the paintwork and a couple of mechanical bits but not much. The rear lower wishbone on the near side is slightly bent but it has always passed a MOT like this. I have a second hand wishbone with bushes ready to go on. I renewed the soft top and the majority of the seals in 2004 when I bought the car and they are still very good as the car is kept in a garage and only out when it's dry. Could do with A pillar seals but not to bad. All electrics work and the rear lights are very good as I fitted a new off-side unit in 2004.
Service history up to 81000 in 2003 and then self serviced by me since with semi-synthetic oil.
The engine sounds sweet and pulls very well. Gears are a little sloppy but all gears select ok. Handbrake is good and holds on a hill. Standard brakes are what you would expect.
Interior good with re trimmed leather before I bought it. No marks or cracks on the dash.
Close inspection will see gel coat cracks on the near side door and off side front wing typical of aging fibre glass and a few other minor chips & scrapes but car still looks good.
Aftermarket alarm/immobiliser with remote central locking all works ok.
I have been collecting a lot of spare parts over the years, some new and some second hand but have never got around to putting them on the car
