Hi,
Having not used this car since my son was born (he recently turned 5!), I’ve finally concluded that it’s time to get rid of my M100. I’m sorry to say that it is now in a dreadful state, and probably not saveable, unless you are very keen. The paintwork is in a bad way, particularly the bonnet and the rear bumper, and there has been considerable water ingress which has rusted through the outriggers on both sides. The roof was never very good (hence the water ingress), but has recently separated at the top of the rear window.
There are some really good points though. First of all, I’ve kept starting and warming the car up while it’s been off the road. The engine runs and the car moves backwards and forwards along my short driveway. Most of the electrics work – windows, lights, heating etc, though the hazards/indicators have recently died. It has a lot of useful parts on it, particularly: Galvanised rear wishbones, front brake upgrade (Saab 95 calipers and Impreza disks), rear brake upgrade (PNM Engineering 16” kit), alloy rear hub conversion, 2.5” stainless exhaust, Everest chip with closed loop conversion, new front driveshafts, aftermarket cooling fans, alternator recon, K&N air filter, dump valve, Elise steering wheel, short shift gearchange kit, 17” alloy wheels, NI number plate, and a replacement windscreen with aftermarket A-pillar seals.
In addition to the car itself, I have all the original brake parts and steering wheel to go with the car and also a short engine and spare gearbox. The car is at 100k miles, and is a 1992 K-reg. I'd like to get £1,500 for the car but am open to offers.
Photos to follow shortly...
