I'm pretty sure the number of positions refers to the heater control in the image below, or, as the handbook calls it, the Airflow Distribution Control.

Mine is '95 and has 6 positions

4) FYN RHD 6 position

Cash will do nicely.

There is now a source of heaters in the Bristol area if anyone is after one.

Hello,

Are there any 6 position RHD units for an S2 left, or, Geoff could you let me know about the supplier in Bristol? Heater completely packed up and i'm sooo cold that i've just left the car alone all winter - it's now soaking wet inside aswell! what fun!
Thanks

I've got one of these, not sure what version it is. It was for brijo but when I turned up in Belfast with it he'd already got one!
Back in England now though, and should probably make its way back to whoever owns it...

Well Adam the one you have (which is the same as Rich needs) belongs to LEC provided that LEC supplied Brijos, otherwise it belongs to Brijo!

Geoff may be able to throw some light as to where Brijo's "other" one came from, I have my suspicions though!

Hi guys,

I purchased my heater early last year, but, being in N. Ireland, I didn't push to have it shipped. I thought I, or somebody I knew, might be able to pick it up.

By Autumn I made positive moves to get it sent here. The plan was that Adam was to take the heater with him on a future trip to Belfast. However, that trip was postponed.

Geoff advised me that a RHD heater had been sent to the US in error, so that one was shipped back to the UK directly to me. Adam's trip then happened last week and he brought another with him, not knowing I had got mine already. I'm obliged to you Adam for thinking of me.

The heater I needed was a 6 position RHD, so I guess the one Adam has, or had, is also 6 position RHD.

Hope you get sorted Rich,

Brian
